2009 Cross Country Skiing World Championships!
Hello Everyone,
I am currently in Liberec, Czech Republic preparing for my first race of the 2009 Cross Country World Championships. I will be racing the 15K Pursuit tomorrow and look forward to the opportunity to test myself against the rest of the World again! I will also be competing in the 4X 5K Women’s Relay and the 30K Skate race! I am really excited to have the opportunity to race here and I owe a huge thanks to all of my sponsors and supporters! Thank you so much for making this such a successful year for me!
Liberec City Hall
Tonight the US Ski Team celebrated being the “Best in the World” by claiming 5 spots of the 18 athletes recognized at the Medals Ceremony. The United States National Anthem played twice and it was a great day for everyone on the team!
My teammate Laura and I explored the downtown square of Liberec before the ceremony and found plenty of activities to keep us distracted until the awards began.
