Midwest Mountaineering Clinics
I’ll be putting on a couple clinics with Midwest Mountaineering in the next weeks; “Preparing for Cross Country Ski Races” and a “Ski with Caitlin” event. Come to one or both, I’d love to have you there!
The first “Preparation” Clinic will be held February 4, at 7 PM in the Ski Department of Midwest Mountaineering.
If you’re going to ski the Birke, Vasaloppet, Finlandia or any of the other races around the Midwest you’ll want to come hear how an elite racer prepares in the week(s) prior to the big day. Please join Caitlin Compton, a Midwest Mountaineering sponsored athlete, who is gunning for the US Olympic Team in 2010. Caitlin has participated in two world championships and won three national championships. She loves to ski, talk skiing and help the rest of us become better racers.
The “Ski with Caitlin” event will be held February 9, at 5 PM at Theodore Wirth Park Chalet.
Come ski with Midwest Mountaineering sponsored athlete Caitlin Compton. Caitlin is gunning for the US Olympic Team in 2010. Caitlin has participated in two world championships and won three national championships. She will share some of the secrets of good ski technique with us and help us all become better skiers. Theodore Wirth Park Chalet 1339 Theodore Wirth Parkway Minneapolis, MN 55411. Meet on the ground floor inside the chalet at 5:00pm. You’ll need a $6 daily park skiing pass or a $35 annual pass.
